In my opinion, the 5th International AAC Conference was a very important event not only for the AAC industry but also for the University of Technology and Life Sciences and the city of Bydgoszcz . The number of guests who arrived at the conference was bigger than expected. In the beginning, 220 persons were supposed to attend the conference, actually there were 300. I am very glad that the participants enjoyed their stay in Bydgoszcz. Undoubtedly, it is a big success of the sponsor, that is, the SOLBET company. They prepared a very interesting program consisting of perfectly organized cultural events, including a concert in the Opera Nova and a visit to the SOLBET production plant in Solec Kujawski which made a big impression on the visitors.
Although I do not represent the AAC branch and it is difficult for me to express my opinion on the merits of the conference, I certainly have reasons to say that the conference has proved that aerated autoclaved concrete is a perfect building material for construction of walls, now and in the future, as it already meets all the requirements for buildings heat protection which are to be implemented after 2020.
